Jamal Murray, who was initially listed questionable for Monday’s Game 5 against the Lakers due to a calf issue, has now been upgraded to available, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Murray went through his pregame routine before a final decision was made on his participation. Head coach Michael Malone stressed the need for responsibility and taking a broader perspective.
He added that while Murray’s presence could aid in winning, they must also consider avoiding further injury risk before finally giving the green light to Jamal, despite him having a large bandage on his calf during the pregame routine.
The Nuggets currently hold a 3-1 advantage in the playoff series, and a victory tonight would propel them to the next round as they continue their pursuit of back-to-back championships.
